Mrs. Laura D. Morris, 92, of 4324 Franklin ave., a Des Moines resident, died Saturday morning at her home.
Services will be at 1 p.m. at Dunn's Funeral home with burial at Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Morris, born at Utica, in Van Buren county, had taught school in Van Buren county. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church; Nitaker Temple, Daughters of Nile, and Order of Eastern Star.
She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Francis Mitchell, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Janet Davidson, Anaheim, Cal.; Mrs. Marian Glass, Bergenfield, N.J., and May and Genevieve Morris, Des Moines; three sons, Mark of Ames, Dorsey of Middleburg, Penn., and Robert of Des Moines; 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
Also surviving are three sisters, Lottie Welch, Keosauquah, and Mrs. Georgia Robertson and Miss Francis Day, both of Santa Ana, Cal., and one brother, Dr. William E. Day, Tuscon, Ariz.
