THE PARIS NEWS, Dec 25, 2011, page 6A. - Lois H. McEwin, 89, passed away July 5, 2011, in McLoud, Okla. A graveside service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, at Union Grove Cemetery in Reno with her grandson, Rev. Stace McEwin, officiating.
She was a teacher for many years in several school districts including Chicota and Detroit.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles McEwin; her parents, Loyd and Bertha Higgins; and her brother, Harold Higgins.
Survivors include her sons, Loyd Weaver McEwin and wife, Sandra, of McLoud, Okla.; Kenneth McEwin and wife, Jenelle, of Boone, N. C.; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
