WOLLASTON - Henry T. Graves, 65, of Quincy, Mass. died this morning at Soldiers Home in Chelsea, Mass. He was the husband of Rebecca A. (Backman) Graves. He was born in Charlestown, Mass. and was employed at Boston Naval Shipyard, a member of Supervisors, Department of Defense, and a Navy veteran of World War I being stationed on the ship USS MELVILLE.
Besides his wife Mr. Graves is survived by two daughters, Ethel (Graves) and husband Carson Johnson and grandchildren Carolyn and Diane; Dorothy (Alley) and husband William Abbott. He was also survived by four sisters, Hattie Small; Clara Cassidy; Elva Dugdale; Nancy Jones; and a brother Edward Graves; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, at the Wickens and Troupe Funeral Home in Quincy with Rev. Philip Muth of the Memorial Congregational Church and assisted by Rev. R. Berwyn Daniel of the First Congregational Church of Stoneham, Mass.
