Paul Altemus, 66, of Ferndale, died today at the Allentown General Hospital. He was hospitalized more than a week ago.
Born in Easton, he was a son of the late George and Ellen Rinker Altemus.
Mr. Altemus was employed by the Riegel Paper Corp. as a maintenance man for 33 years.
He was a member of Quarter Century Club, St Luke's United Church of Christ, Ferndale, and was currently serving as sexton of the church. He was a veteran of World War I. He served in the cavalry of the Army. He was a member of Post 133, American Legion, Frenchtown, and the United Paper Makers Union.
