Mathena Funeral is at Glencoe Friday
Funeral services for William T. Mathena, 73, who died in Bismarck Tuesday, will be held in the Glencoe church Friday at 2pm. Burial will be made in the Glecoe Cemetery. Marvin Miller, Church of God pastor, will conduct services.
Mr. Mathena, who came to North Dakota in 1906, has been living at the Baptist Old People's Home here for about a month, but was a long-time resident of Carson, ND.
He never married. His survivors are a brother, James Mathena of 2100 Ave. A and two sisters -- Mrs Manda Williamson of Bentley, ND and Mrs. Arthur Phillips of Bismarck.
Pall bearers--all of whom are his nephews--will be Arthur Williamson, Jesse Phillips, James Mathena, Richard Day, Frank Johnson and Jack Mickel.
The body is lying in state in Clanan's Funeral Home.
Note: William T Mathena was the son of Lewis James Mathena and Elizabeth Jane Spence.
