Mrs. Roland (Dorothy) Tollefson, 59, of 2000 Johnston Dr., Manitowoc, died Monday, January 10, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Edmund E. Olson will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Tollefson, nee Dorothy G. Vassilew, was born April 30, 1923, at Sturgeon Bay, daughter of the late George Vassilew and Ruth Tollefson Vassilew. She resided in Manitowoc most of her life, where she attended Manitowoc Public Schools and was graduated from Lincoln High School. She was married to Roland W. Tollefson May 7, 1941, at De Rider, La. The couple owned and operated Tollie's Bar in Manitowoc for 20 years.
Survivors include her husband, Roland W., eight sons and seven daughters-in-law, Roland Jr. and Jackie of Ellensburg, Wash., David and Gloria of Kansas City, Richard of Route 1, Whitelaw, Gerald and Jennie, Daniel and Janice, Donald and Sherry, Gary and Kathy and Larry and Rae Ann of Manitowoc; two daughters and a son-in-law, Gloria Andersack of Manitowoc and Donna and Edward Gauthier of Mishicot; her mother, Mrs. Ruth Osulson, a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Bernice Vassilew, two sisters, Mrs. Donald (Dolores) Shawhan and Mrs. Shirley Bruechert and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Alfred (Florence) Tollefson of Manitowoc; 11 grandchildren and neices and nephews.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning until the time of service.
