A memorial mass will be held at 2:30 p.m. March 4 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with a private family gathering to be held graveside at Port Blakely Cemetery.

Dorothy is the oldest of 8 children of Harry Edward Fink and Edna Marie Christine Andersen. Her parents owned and operated a small telephone company in Graettinger, Iowa.
Dorothy was born in Ringsted Iowa in 1915. The family moved to Sac City Iowa by 1920, and Afton Iowa by 1925. In 1930 they were all in Graettinger. Dorothy was married to Roger Quincy Mills on November 16, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois, where her maternal grandparents and several other relatives lived. In 1945 she was in San Francisco, California while her husband was in Japan. She worked at the USO in San Francisco. DOrothy and her husband moved to the state of Washington, where they adopted two sons,John Roger Mills and Roger Michael Mills. Later she gave birth to two daughters, Mary Christine Mills [married Belisle] and Dorothy Edna Mills [married Wittman]. Dorothy valiantly raised her family in Wenatchee Washington after her husband deserted the family. Her later years were spent in Seattle and on Bainbridge Island near one of her daughters.
