STANFORD - Otis Lloyd Thompson, 85, of New Salem, died Sunday at Charleston Health Care Center. Born Jan. 22, 1921, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Clay and Etta Morgan Thompson. He was a farmer, a member of New Salem Baptist Church and the widower of Mable Thompson. Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Thompson of Danville; three brothers, William Thompson and Lillard Thompson, both of Middleburg, and Clifford Thompson of Cincinnati; two sisters, Inez Clemons of Liberty and Evelyn Delk of California, Ky; and a granddaughter. Services will be 2 p. m. Wednesday at Spurlin Funeral Home by the Rev. Matt Jones. Burial will be in New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
