Loretta Jewell Briggs Titus, 78, of Wills Point died Thursday at the Medical Center of Terrell. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Coker-Matthews Chapel with Bishop Lamar Walton officiating. Burial will follow at Hall Cemetery.
Mrs. Titus was born in Lone Oak on Oct. 23, 1925 to Lester Ray Briggs and Ettie Jewell Kuhn Briggs. She was a bookkeeper for Dallas Gasket and a member of the Peniel Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors are sons Danny Mason of Wills Point, Tracy Titus of Mesquite, Tony Titus of Corsicana and Steve Titus of Dallas; daughter Rene Chipres of Alexandria, Vir.; sister Jean Land of Dallas; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers are Danny Mason, Tracy Titus, Steve Titus, Tony Titus, Danny Mason, Jr. and James Walker.
Visitation will be held today from 4 to 7 p.m. at Coker-Matthews Funeral Home.
