Angel L. Alicea, Jr., of Newburgh, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at Westchester Medical Center. He was 43.
Son of Crucita Vargas, her husband Maximino and Angel L. Alicea, Sr., he was born on September 8, 1968 in Connecticut.
Angel was a Financial Broker Dealer for Gilman & Ciocia in Poughkeepsie.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Nadya Palou at home; children, Christopher Angel Alicea, Brianna Alicea and Jasmine Alicea, all of Newburgh; brothers, Cristobal Alicea and Angel Alicea III, both of Erie, PA; Peter Alicea of Puerto Rico; sisters, Maribel Alicea and Awilda Alicea, both of Newburgh, April Alicea and Angie Alicea, both of Erie, PA; nieces, Nakisha, Cristallyn, Stephanie and Jazlene; nephews, Nicholas and Angelo Jr.; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Tuesday, December 27 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh.
A funeral service will take place at 11 am on Wednesday, December 28 in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
