OBITUARY :
MRS. NELLIE S. BENDER, wife of W. Roger Bender of Boonsboro, died at Washington County Hospital Monday morning of complications, following an illness of seven months, aged 78.
The daughter of the late John and Margaret (Stouffer) Bowman, she was born in Boonsboro and lived her entire life there. She had been a member of Mt. Nebo E.U.B. Church, Boonsboro, for the past 62 years.
Besides her husband she is survived by a step-daughter, Mrs. A. H. Snively, Keedysville, and several nieces and nephews.
The body was taken to the Bast Funeral Home, Boonsboro, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Curvin Thompson. Interment will be in the Boonsboro Cemetery.
