She was the grandmother of Mrs. Katherine Alvord Denson of New York City, Marian Alvord Flanders of Maryland, Clarissa Alvord Brandes of Illinois and Laura Wales Alvord of Washington, D.C. She is also survived by two great-grandsons. Services were held at the Oak Hill Cemetery Chapel on Tuesday, March 29. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
