He was born in Ashland and had been a resident of Battle Creek for 10 years. He had previously resided in the Cleveland area.
He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Berry; sons, Thomas (Lisa) Berry and Christian Berry; daughters, Jennet (Shawn) Elliot and Jessica Berry; stepsons Phillip (Heidi) McNamee and James (Natalie) McNamee; and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Berry, in 2007; mother, Doris Berry, in 1973; and father, Lemoine Berry, in 1980.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, 2011, at Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 98 S. Diamond St., Mansfield. Military graveside services conducted by the U.S. Army will follow in Adario Cemetery.
