Israel Hamilton, a poor man and recently a Federal soldier, when working at David Steward's, a few days ago, was attacked with cramps and lived but a few hours, despite the efforts of the attending physician. He was buried in the M.E. cemetery by the G.A.R. Post with all the honors of war. His family are left in destitute circumstances. A subscription was taken for their benefit and generously responded to.
