Robert Albert Plummer, 80 of Valdosta died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at his home. He was born in Grove Hill, Alabama on December 26, 1931 to the late Ralph H. and Carrie Riggan Plummer and had lived in Valdosta for the past ten years. Mr. Plummer was a 1955 graduate of Auburn University and the owner of a Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Company. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Methodist Church.
Mr. Plummer leaves to cherish his memory; daughter and son in law, Frances V and Shannon R.; sons and daughters in law, Robert A.II and Sharon L., Ralph S., James D. and Rebecca J.; four grandchildren, Shannon R. III, Frances V, Hannah K. and Chloe A.; brothers and a sister in laws, M. Upright double "name" stone on a base marks the Plummer plots. Each individual has a small rectangular block with name and dates. All appear to be made of granite.
