Gladys Earline Davis, 84, of Rogersville, passed away at her home on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2014. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Elkins East Chapel. The funeral service will follow at noon in the chapel with Brother Andy Erwin and Nolen Clemons officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens.She was preceded in death by her husband, Cortez "Roebuck" Davis, parents, John D. and Henrietta Fulks Greene, sisters, Pauline Greene Hammond and Mildred Greene Joiner, and son-in-law, Kenneth Williams.Earline was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ and along with her husband, Roebuck, owned and operated several businesses in the Elgin community for many years. Known by many for her kindness, generosity, and integrity, she will always be loved by those who knew her.Survivors include her daughters, Beverlia Davis Hodges (Johnny), Rogersville, and Florence Williams, Rogersville; grandchildren, Blake Williams, Anderson, and Blair Williams Berry (Jason), Huntsville; great-granddaughter, Brinkley Berry; and several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Harvey Glover, Joel Glover, Franklin Glover, Greg Davis, James Davis, Jerry Paul Butler, and David Deering. Honorary pallbearers will be Willis Glover and Doug Burchell.The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Mann for his loving
