MRS. E. THOMAS, WIDOW OF CITY PIONEER, PASSES
Mrs. Elizabeth Ellen Thomas, 92 years of age, resident of Los Angeles fifty-seven years, died yesterday afternoon. She had arranged, it was said, to leave her home at 1344 Maltman street, where she had lived for fifty-six years, to the First Methodist Church, of which she was a member, to be used as a home for the aged.
Mrs. Thomas was the widow of Milton Thomas, a pioneer resident of the city. She leaves two grandchildren, Marguerite B. Russell and Herb T. Brown, and a nephew, Thomas R. Archer.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. tomorrow from Bresee Brothers Chapel, 855 South Figueroa street. Burial will be at Rosedale.
