Mr. Claude Blackstone, 85, died Friday at 5:15 at his home in Columbia. Be was born near Bainbridge, the son of John and Isadore Blackstone, and was reared there. In September, 1900, he married. Emma Sharp, who survives him. Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Helen Bateman of Columbus, and two grandchildren, Patricia and Miriam. Services will be Sunday at 2 p. m., at the home of his cousin, Mrs. Jennie McGinnis. at Bainbridge. Burial will be in Bainbridge cemetery.
