ALBERTSON, Betty L. (nee Armstrong) age 77 of Lebanon, Ohio passed peacefully Thursday evening, December 15, 2011 at Bethesda Arrowsprings. Born June 3, 1934 in Lebanon, Ohio, Betty was the daughter of Harold and Nan (Morris) Armstrong and was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Many will remember Betty from her years of working at the Moose Lodge, Lebanon Laundry and the A & W Rootbeer Stand on North Broadway where she was a car hop on skates! Betty was a crafter who enjoyed making wreaths, potpourri and working with fabric and was a longtime exhibitor at the Country Applefest in Lebanon, Ohio. Preceded in death by her parents, husband James Albertson in 2006 and brother Rollie Armstrong; Betty leaves behind her sons Randy (Carmen) Albertson and Edward Albertson all of Lebanon, Ohio; daughters Linda (Willis) Fields and Connie (Richard) Ernst all of Lebanon, Ohio, Sherry Misch of St. Cloud, Florida and Melissa (Mike) Dalton of Middletown, Ohio; brothers Chuck Morris of Florida and Dick Armstrong of Dayton, Ohio; twelve grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call on the family Thursday evening, December 22, 2011 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home at 7:00pm. Final resting place will be in Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Ohio.
