Delsie Margaret Kobs of Yamhill died June 10, 2002, in her home. She was 75. At her request, services will be private. Private interment will be in Yamhill-Carlton Pioneer Cemetery, Yamhill.
She was born Oct. 29, 1926, in Franfort Township, Minn. She was raised and educated in Buffalo, Minn.
She and Edward Kobs were married June 5, 1946, in Anoka, Minn.
Her husband's job required him to be stationed overseas and Mrs. Kobs eventually joined him, living in various locations, including Germany and Japan. The couple settled permanently in Yamhill in 1964.
Mrs. Kobs liked fishing and gardening. She attended St. John Catholic Church, Yamhill.
Survivors include a son, Jesse Kobs of Yamhill; a daughter, Lorna Ann Obert of Midland, Texas; two sisters, Harriet Otten and Pearl Otten, both of Buffalo, Minn.; a brother, Franklin Blake, of Buffalo, Minn.; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995.
