Lois Jean Chasteen
Lois Jean Chasteen, age 66, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday June 13,
2013, from Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. Jean was the daughter
of Clarence Edward Brock and Dorothy Helen Brock.
She was retired from the General Mills Company where she was affectionately
known as Queen Jean. She was a member of Church on the Rock in Berea, Ky.
In addition to her parents Jean is survived by: her daughter, Gina Chasteen
McCollum and husband Rob; and granddaughter Kendra McCollum.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Tony H. Chasteen, and son Tony
Kendall Chasteen.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday June 17, 2013, at Church on the Rock
with the Rev. Mark Sarver officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday
night at the church.
Pallbearers will be: Jimmy Nickell, Jack Brooks, Ronnie Williams, Vince McGuire,
Stevie Chasteen and Floyd Chasteen. Burial will be in the Berea Cemetery.
