Donald Elkin Neeley
Donald Elkin Neeley, 80, Topeka, died Saturday, January 19, 1991, at a local hospital.
Mr. Neeley was a retired cement mason.
He was born March 14, 1910, at Skidmore, Mo, the son of Albert Winton and Elizabeth Steadam Neeley. [Correction: Albert Winton's wife was actually Hannah Louise Elkin. Elizabeth Steadham was Albert's mother]
Mr. Neeley was a member of the Christian church at Quitman, Mo., and Local No. 44 of the Cement Mason's Union.
He was married to Edna M. McGinness. She survives.
Other survivors include a son, Donald Neeley, Topeka, a sister, Mary Virginia Agee, Wichita Falls, Texas; two grandsons; and four great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Mr. Neeley will lie in state after noon today at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m.
