Mrs. Hilda Korb, 58, a resident of the Town of Herman, died at 10 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Hospital after a lingering illness.
A daughter of the late Frank and Louise Rades Born of Kiel, she was born March 9, 1901, in Kiel, and attended public schools there.
She was married to Carl Korb in 1921 by the Rev. Ottmar Schmidt at Trinity Lutheran Church in the Town of Herman. Following their marriage, the couple settled on a farm in the town.
Survivors are her husband; two sons, Kenneth of Eau Claire, Wis., Stanley with the U.S. Air Force in England; three grandchildren; four brothers, Walter of Kenosha, Elmer of Brillion, Edwin of the Town of Herman, Arthur of Manitowoc, and two sisters; Mrs. Joe (Esther) Zimmermann of Plymouth, and Mrs. Frank (Ida) Novac of Port Washington.
One brother and children in infancy also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church in the Town of Herman. The Rev. John F. Potratz will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call at the Walter H. Ahrens Funeral Home in Howards Grove from 2 p.m. Friday until 11 a.m. Saturday and then at the church from noon.
A memorial fund for Mrs. Korb has been established for Trinity Lutheran Church.
