Funeral services for Ernest C. Holland Sr., 56, of 753 Marshall Drive, who died at 10:45am yesterday, will be held at 11am Monday in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary.
Dr. Clifton A. Forrester and Rev. A. W. Ellis will officiate and burial will be in Macon Memorial Park.
Mr. Holland was born in Tift County, a son of the late Charlie Holland and Lillie Callahan Holland, and had lived here for 38 years, coming here from Miami, Fla. He was a general paint contractor, a member of Tattnall Square Baptist Church, the Bailey Mozo Bible Class, and a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his widow, the former Mozelle Collins of Macon; one son, Ernest C. Holland Jr. of Macon; one brother, Wilton Holland of Lakeland, Fla.; two sisters, Mrs. W. C. Tidwell of Macon and Mrs. H. C. Sheelus of Macon; and several nieces and nephews.
