Joseph was born June 30, 1922 in Liverpool, NY to Frederick and Helen Selinsky. A graduate of Phoenix H.S. in Phoenix, NY and attended Navapache Community College in Show Low, AZ and was certified in criminal justice courses. He was a US Navy veteran of WW II. An Arizona resident since 1956, residing in Phoenix, Lakeside and Sun City, AZ. He retired from Allied Signal-Honeywell in 1982. He was a member of Bell Silver Club, Bell Lapidary and the Rockhounds. He is survived by 1 sister, Elaine Fairfield and sister Dorthea Higgins preceded him in death. Also surviving are his wife Mildred and four sons, Frederick (Cheri), James (Chalonne), Michael and Mark (Kathleen); six grandsons, one grand-daughter and 3 great grandchildren. A memorial mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, January 6, 2012 at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 15800 N. Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ. Private interment will be at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of the Valley , 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ.
