Adam Patrick Haynie, 28, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, at a Houston hospital.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Friday at Hartwell First Baptist Church, Hartwell, Ga. Dr. F. Hugh Kirby will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ed Ridgway, Brian Wysong, Brad Parham, Nathan Bartlett, Chad Singleton, Vance Foster, Clint McCollum, Matt Gale and Jason Martin. Interment will follow in Nancy Hart Memorial Park. The family will meet friends at the home. Visitation: The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials: The family suggests memorials be made to the Adam Haynie Memorial Scholarship Fund, care of Bank of America, 241 E. Howell St., Hartwell, Ga. 30643.
Born Jan. 12, 1976, in Anderson, S.C., he was a 1994 graduate of Hart County High School and a 2000 graduate of Texas Christian University in Fort Worth with a B.S. degree in criminal justice. He was a second-year law school student in Houston. Mr. Haynie was a member of Hartwell First Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Matt Haynie; and paternal grandfather, Joe D. Haynie.
Survivors: Parents, Tony and Brenda White Haynie; paternal grandmother, Kitty Haynie of Hartwell, Ga.; and maternal grandparents, Charles Thurman White and Lanelle Woodall White.
