Collins Bouldin Funeral Rites Monday

Collins P. Bouldin, prominent farmer and rancher, died here at 8:20 a.m. Sunday.
Funeral services were 2 p.m. Monday at the Seydler-Hill chapel with the Rev. Warren Hornung, padtor of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery.
Bouldin was born in Gonzales county on August 16, 1900, the son of William George and Artie Taylor Bouldin, natives respectively of the state of Mississippi and of Luling.
He was married to Sarah Hulda Peck on May 21, 1920, and the family home is at 239 St. Andrew Street.
A member of the First United Methodist church, Bouldin served as chairman of the board of directors of the First National Bank of Gonzales for 13 years. He served on the board for many years prior to the chairmanship.
He was a lifetime director of Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association and a charter member of the Gonzales Rotary Club.
He attended San Marcos Academy and the University of Texas where he was a member of Chi Phi Fraternity.
