MICHAEL J ABERCROMBIE: Perry; 43, died [9-20 Friday] at UHHS Brown Memorial Hosp in Conneaut. Born 21 Jan 1959 in Euclid, he lived in Mentor before moving to Perry 10yrs ago. He was a US Navy veteran & a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. MrAbercrombie was employed as an electrician at the former Ohio Rubber Co-Willoughby. Most recently, he wor-ked as a sales associate at Dick's Sporting Goods-Mentor for the past 4 years.
Survivors are his father & step-mother: DavidL (sp-Mildred) Abercrombie Sr-Mentor; siblings: DavidL (sp-Linda) Abercrombie-Perry, Phyllis (sp-Israel) Jarrett-Acworth GA & ClarkD (sp-Karen) Abercrombie-Painesville; step-sister Charlotte (sp-Christopher) Dingley-Painesville & several nieces--nephews. His mother KatieB Hickey Abercrombie is deceased.
Services will be Tuesday morning [9-24] at Davis Trust 100 Funeral Home-Willoughby. The RevPhillip Hilditch of Victory Baptist Church in Mentor will officiate. Burial will be in Mentor Cem. The family sugests contributions be made to the American Heart Assn-Ohio Valley Affiliate.
