Paul Lee Shepherd, 78, of Raytown, MO, beloved husband, father, and grandfather went home to Glory on April 16, 2011. Paul served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1956. He retired from Hallmark Cards after 43 years of employment. Paul served as deacon at Southview Baptist Church in Raytown, MO. Paul is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ferba Shepherd; children: Ginger and Jim Gibeson, of Kansas City, MO; Paula and David Parks, of Pittsville, MO; Brenda and Dennis McGraw, of Raytown, MO; and Angie and Steve Reber, of Independence, MO; 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. Visitation will be 9-10 a.m., Thursday, April 21, 2011, followed by funeral services at 10 a.m., at Floral Hills Funeral Home. Burial at Brooking Cemetery.
