Funeral Today for Mrs. Arnold Ritter
Deceased Resident of Community 41 Years, and of Town for 13 Years

Funeral services. conducted by the Rev. E. O. Baack. Jr. of Trinity Lutheran church, are being held this afternoon, (Thursday) at Caseys chapel for Mrs. Arnold Ritter, age 64. Mrs. Ritter hanged herself in the basement of her home on Tuesday afternoon. She had been in failing health for several years. Interment is being made in St. Paul's cemetery. Pallbearers are Erven Janssen, Vernon Grundman, Oekie E. Brans, Ernest Frerichs, Frank Horstmann and Ray Arends.

Lynna Sophia Damme, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Damme, was born January 14, 1894, at Burr. As an Infant, she was baptized at Osage Evangelical and Reformed church near Cook. She became a member of Trinity Lutheran church, as an adult confirmand, on May 23, 1926. For a brief period, she taught in the Sunday school.

Mrs. Ritter received her public school education at a rural school near Burr, and Talmage high school. On November 29, 1917, she was married to Arnold J. Ritter. Following their marriage, they resided in Talmage for a year,then moved to a farm northeast of Talmage, where they lived until 1946, at which time they moved back into-town.

Mrs. Ritter was preceded in death by an infant son, and her parents. She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. LaVern (Marilyn) Wittler; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Viola Genzlinger of Burr, and Mrs. Ruby Young of Hastings; and one brother, Fred Damme of Burr.
