Infant son, age 11 months, of noted political figure Thomas Y. How(e) and his wife, the former Sarah Hulbert. Baby Thomas' funeral took place a month before his first birthday, and like his young brothers Charles and George, who also died in early childhood, he was originally interred in St. Peter's Churchyard in Auburn. (Church records give the date of his death as September 27, 1834, while Fort Hill gives it as September 24.) The three little How boys' remains were later transferred to the family plot here in the latter, where their parents and two other How children, 20-year-old Sarah and 15-year old Edward, were buried following their deaths during the 1860's.
