Uncle Robert as he was affectionately called. Was a very mysterious man when you thought you would never hear from him he would call or show up from being away for so long. He traveled the country and he never stayed in one place for a long time I once heard him say that the only thing he wanted to see was the highway. He talked of his adventures and the people that he met along the way he would make you laugh when you didn't think you could. He would come and visit every now in then until eight years ago when his brother had taken ill and he came up to see him and that's when he decided to stay. But he would always talk about leaving...something he spoked about often right up until his death unexpectly from a brief illness. I'm going to miss my uncle dearly and he will also be missed by all who knew and loved him. He has seen a beautiful Highway which leads to Heaven,he's now another angel in heaven watching over us. There is an error on Robert L Davis headstone the month of his death is listed as February he passed away in January which is the actual month.
