Elmond's birthdate is in question. Stone states that he was 74 yrs old making his birth year 1790. 1850 census gives his age as 52. 1860 census gives his age as 65. Elmond married Hannah (Webb) Sevier on September 7, 1825 in Ralls County, Missouri. I believe they had four sons all born in Missouri. (James Vincent, Andrew A., Alanson R. and Francis Marion) Elmond's wife, Hannah and one of their sons, Francis Marion are also buried in the Catlin cemetery.
