Anna Dean Angel, 87, went to her Heavenly home Dec. 12, 2011.
Anna was born in Spavinaw, Ok on 2/17/1924. She was the first of three children born Ellis and Dallas Holt Puryear.
Her family moved to Miami,Ottawa Co., Ok when she was in the 1st grade and she graduated from Miami High school in 1942.
Anna married Carl Reno Angel in 1042. They moved to Big Springs, TX where Carl served in the U.S. Air Force. After the war they moved back to Miami.
Anna loved her family, she was an amazing mother, wife, granny, sister, aunt and friend to all and those who knew her were truly blessed.
She loved children and spent most of her working days in the school cafeteria cooking for them.
Anna also spent many years taking care of babies and her grandchildren. In her later years she made blankets for every baby she knew.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Carl and her sister, Rhea, "Red" Vaughn.
Survivors include one son, Randy, and his wife Jan, of Fairfield, TX., two daughters, Nancy Pritchard and husband Dywane, of Spring, TX and Becky Allen of Broken Arrow, OK, her brother, Jim Puryear, of Cisco, TX, 6 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
No servicec were planned.
