Bill passed away from complications after several surgeries. He is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Carol Schuler (Glen), Susan Underwood (Chris); son Bill Abbott III, stepson Scott Day, and grandchildren, Matthew and Sarah Underwood.
Bill graduated from San Jose State University and served in the Army in Korea. He spent the last 20 years of his career at Lockheed in procurement before retiring. He was a member of the Native Sons of the Golden West as well as a member of Almaden Golf and Country Club.
Services have been held.
