Osma Couvillion, 63, died at 9:30 p.m. Friday, March 16, 1951 in New Orleans. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma Couvillion, three sons, O. L., Lawrence, and Alton Couvillion, six daughters, Mrs. Georgia Adams, Mrs. Ella Mae Martinez, and Mrs. Juliette Luceli, all of New Orleans, Mrs. Dorthy Ponthieux, Mrs. Erline Deshavelle, and Mrs. Audrey Deshavelle, all of Marksville, Three sisters, Mrs. Anthony Tauche of Hessmer, Mrs. Corrine Rabalais of Moreauville, and Mrs. Mabel Aymond of Bunkie. the Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday, March 18, 1951 in the St. Joseph Catholic church. Interment will be in the St. Joseph cemetery under direction of Hixson Bros. Funeral home of Marksville.
