1932-2002

PANHANDLE - Anna Margaret Collins Cassidy, 70, died Sunday, April 14, 2002.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kathryn Boren officiating. Burial will be in Panhandle Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Cassidy was born March 21, 1932, in Hall County. She graduated from Memphis High School in 1949 and attended Draughon's Business College.
She married Joseph P. Cassidy in 1955 and was a resident of Panhandle for 42 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and involved in many community activities.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leo Collins in 1951; and her mother, Ruby Maddox Collins Goodnight in 2001.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Susan Daniel and husband, Pat, of Hereford; two sons, John Cassidy and wife, Karen, and Jay Cassidy and wife, Alison, all of Prosper; two sisters, Linda Collins Thompson of Beaumont and Carolyn Collins Jackson of Fort Worth; a stepbrother, Sam Goodnight of Levelland; two stepsisters, Pat Goodnight of Memphis and Jan Sustaire of Oregon; and six grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church of Panhandle.
