WATERBURY — Mrs. Joyce M. (Jenner) Palomba, 72, of Kearney Drive, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at Waterbury Hospital. Mrs. Palomba was born June 28, 1939, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Kenneth and Mary (Eastwood) Jenner.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Roy Palomba of Waterbury, Nico Palomba of Watertown, Jerry Palomba, Jay Jay Palomba and Donny Palomba, all of Waterbury; her daughters, Debbie Palomba-Witherow of California, Laurie Palomba of Nevada, and Sheila Colella-Palomba of Waterbury; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; her brother, Kenny Jenner of Waterbury; her sisters-in-law, Dot Jenner and Joanie Jenner; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two grandsons, her brothers, Donald and John Jenner, and her best friend of 45 years, Lori Summers.
A funeral will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, from the Maiorano Funeral Home, 95 Willow St., Waterbury, with a service beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
