A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 1998, in Hoodview Church of God in Woodburn for Myrtle L. Waymire, who died Jan. 25 at age 92.
Mrs. Waymire was born May 31, 1905, in Oak Grove. Her maiden name was Schlegel. A homemaker, she lived in Woodburn for 50 years before moving to Milwaukie and eventually to a care center in Oregon City. She was a member of the church. In 1925, she married Lloyd J.; he died in 1984.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth of Tigard; daughters, Aileen Shrock of Hubbard, LaVerna Bothum of Oregon City and Doris Odgers of La Pine; sister, Grace Hobson of Fresno, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Private interment will be in Belle Passi Cemetery in Woodburn. The family suggests remembrances to the church.
