Wilson Allen was originally interred in the post cemetery at Fort Harrison, Montana. When the Fort was abandoned, his remains were exhumed and reburied in the Custer National Cemetery, Little Bighorn Battlefield Site, Crow Agency Montana. The re-interrment took place in August of 1948, along with others exhumed from the Fort Harrison Cemetery. Wilson Allen was a Private in Company B, of the 24th US Infantry.
