Ralph Miles Faulds Sr., 86, Oconto, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2012, at Woodlands Nursing Home, Oconto. Ralph was born May 15, 1925, in Oconto to the late Miles and Amanda (Johnson) Faulds. He married Jean M. Belongia on May 20, 1950. Ralph served in the US Air Force from 45-47, serving in Germany as an air traffic controller. Ralph retired back to Oconto in 1994. He enjoyed fishing and took trips to Canada with family and friends. Ralph was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto, and a lifetime member of VFW Post# 06498.
Ralph is survived by his wife Jean Faulds, Oconto; daughter Gail (Chuck) Nichols, St. Peters, MO; three sons Brian Faulds, Terre Haute, IN; Mark (Kathryn) Faulds, Port Washington; Ralph Miles Faulds Jr., West Bend; three sisters-in-law Dolores Tunney, Ruth Shufelt, Karen (Cliff) Dembroski; two brothers-in-law Claude Belongia and Vernon (Dorothy) Belongia; eight grandchildren Chad (Jefre) Nichols, Dr. Andrea Nichols, Sherry (David) Nornberg, Joshua (Johanna) Faulds, Lauren Faulds, Autumn Faulds, Micah Faulds and Jason; six great grandchildren Neo, Ethan, Skyler, Madison, Sophia and Dane. He was preceded in death by a son David Faulds and three sisters Marcella Campbell, Murial Barribeau and Ruth Hoffer.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Oconto, from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, January 7, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Rev. Joel Sember officiating. Burial will be at the Oconto Catholic Cemetery with Military Rites by the American Legion Post# 74.
