Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. today at Essling Funeral Home for Garry H. Moore, 88, of Anderson Sanitarium and formerly of 1404 State Street. He died at 5:15 p.m. Saturday at the sanitarium following a one-month illness. The Rev. Joseph Shepherd officiated at services and burial was in Pine Lake Cemetery. Moore was born March 9, 1883 in LaPorte County to Mr. and Mrs. Harry Moore. He was a retired employee of the Meinke and Son Transfer Company. He was married to the former Mabel Raven, who preceded him in death in 1958. Surviving are one granddaughter, Mrs. Jeraldine Smith of LaPorte, and one great grandchild.
