Mary Francis Ford, 83, passed from this earth Tuesday, February 26, 2008, at her home in north Oklahoma City. Mary was born May 12, 1924 to Edith Laffoon Huff and Cecil Huff in Oronoque, KS. She was a Godly woman who served her Lord throughout her life, including being an active member of over 35 years at Village Christian Church. She retired from Montgomery Ward after over 20 years of service. She loved her grandchildren and liked to attend all of their special events. She enjoyed teaching her granddaughters how to sew and quilt. She married Dalphas Ray Ford, June 26, 1957 and was a loving and devoted wife and mother for 44 years. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Russell Huff; and sister, Helen Applegate. She leaves behind eight children, Louise and Alvin Lyon, Irene Southards, Ron Boggess and Bitsy Barr, Bill and Claudia Boggess, Delphine and Gary Chatham, Betty and Jim Reed, Michael and Sharon Ford, Edwin and Linda Ford; 26 grand- children; 31 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and many loving friends. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 29, at Village Christian Church, 9401 Ridgeview (Britton Rd. between Pennsylvania and May) OKC, 73120 with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery.
