HOLD FUNERALS OF SHELBY COUNTYANS KILLED IN STORM
Shelbina, Mo., July 18.—Wednesday afternoon the following Masons of Shelbina attended the funeral of Albert Couch at Hunnewell, who with Richard Spencer, was killed by a stroke of lightning near Salt river bridge Monday afternoon: Harry J. Libby, W. V. Barker, E. H. Ralls, James Lucas, Everett Bybee and J. M. Moore.
Mr. Couch was early 50 years of age Funeral seri es were conducted by Rev. V. T. Wood of the Paris Christian church, assisted by Rev. Hunt of Hunnewell Methodist church.
The funeral of Mr. Spencer took place at the Hunnewell Methodist church Thursday afternoon.

Obituary

Albert Ross Couch was the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Couch, of Emden, Missouri.
He was born on September 14, 1876, near Monroe City, MO. and departed this life on July 13, 1925, being at the time of his death 48 years, 7 months, and 29 days of age. His death was caused by a stroke of lightening on the road near his home at about three-thirty in the afternoon.
He was united in marriage to Miss Pearl Bates at Tecumseh, Okla., on Dec. 26, 1900. To this union there were born four children: Mrs. Paul Noland of Chillicothe, Ill., Orren, Opal and Vaden, who are at home.
During a meeting in August, 1912, he united with the Christian church at Emden, MO., later moving his membership to Hunnewell, where he was buried. He was a member of the Masonic order and was buried by the lodges of Hunnewell and Shelbina.
His funereal sermon was preached by Rev. V.T.Wood, of Paris, MO., at the Hunnewell M. E. church, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30.
Besides his own family he leaves on grandson, two brothers, Howard Couch, of Laddonia, MO., and Estel Couch, of Emden; also four sisters, Mrs. Fannie Bennett, Mrs. Earl Spencer, Mrs. W R. McCrorey and Mrs. Frank Dammerell, all of Hunnewell, MO.
Besides his relatives he leaves a host of friends who loved him and respected his honor and manhood.
