(Oct. 11) Christina Diane Koester, 13, died Friday, Oct. 8, 1999 at the Box Butte General Hospital.
She was born on May 11, 1986 to George Koester and Mary Catherine (Kier) Koester in Alliance.
She was an eighth grade student, and active in volleyball, basketball, and the school band. She was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God Church, Sunday School Aid, Girl Scouts, Middle School Band. Her survivors include: her parents of Alliance, grandmothers, Gertrude Koester of Alliance and Terri Kier of Washington, Kansas; brothers and sister-in-law, Daniels and Kim Pianalto of Sublette, Kansas and Nicholas Pianalto of Kirksville, Missouri; sister, Marla Lane of Aurora, Colo., niece and nephew, Carissa and Chase Lane of Aurora, Colo.; several aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her two grandfathers.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m. at the Calvary Assembly of God Church wth Pastor Michael G. Schaff officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Alliance Cemetery. A memorial has been established for the Calvary Assembly of God Church.
