Services for Lois Dean Thedford, 78, of Noonday are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, in the chapel of Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Thoene officiating. She will be laid to rest at 2 p.m. in Shiloh Cemetery in Mount Enterprise.

Mrs. Thedford went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, Jan. 2, 2012, in Noonday. She was born Feb. 27, 1933, in Mount Enterprise to the late John and Jeanette Gaston Moore. She was a longtime Smith County resident, was an engineer for Southwestern Bell Telephone and was associated with First Baptist Church, Gresham. She was preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Moore; sisters, Bobbie June Larson, Ruby Clifton and Louise Phillips; and a grandson, Matt Bickley.

Survivors include a daughter, Pat and Ronnie Bickley; two sons, Phillip Thedford and his friend Amy Presley, and Dale and Shelia Thedford, all of Noonday; brothers, Paul Moore of Mount Enterprise and Don Moore of Rice; a cousin, David Kelley and wife Joyce of Suffolk, Va.; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Moore, Hunter Moore, Blake McCaslin, Dylan Bickley, Clayton Williams and Joe Burden. Honorary pallbearers are Jonathon Thedford, Andrew Adcock and Rhett Presley.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
