Wayne Arthur Gosse, age 71, of Plymouth, went home to be with his Lord on Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls. He was born on June 20, 1940 in the Town of Memee son of the late Arthur and Ida (Gauer) Gosse. He attended Country Grade School and also Howards Grove High School. Wayne served his country in the United States Army. On June 27, 1964 he married Lynda Schuppe at St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Plymouth and spent many years singing with the Barbershoppers of Plymouth. Through is working career he found himself working as a welder for Gilson Brothers, Lawn Boy, and later Toro, for over 39 years. He is survived by his loving wife Lynda of Plymouth, a son, Scott (Jill) Gosse of Hartland, 2 grandchildren, Ryan Alexander and Eric Michael Gosse, 2 step grandchildren, Tom and Sarah, and a sister, Ellen Sanchez of Oostburg. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, DuWayne, a daughter-in-law Kelly, a brother Monroe, and a sister Karen Juers. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday October 4, 2011 at the Schneider Funeral Home (123 South Street) Plymouth with the Rev. Nathan Meador, Senior Pastor of St. John Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday at the funeral home from 9:30 AM until the time of service. A memorial fun has been established in the name of Wayne A. Gosse for the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.
