Mass of the Christian burial for Jolinda Dawn Vivier, 10 month old daughter of John and Tobbie (Malaterre) Vivier of Dunseith, North Dakota, was held on Thursday, May 19, 2011 in the St Michael's Church in Dunseith with Father Paul officiating the mass. Burial followed at the St. Mary's Cemetery of rural Dunseith, North Dakota.

Special music was provided by Rodney Thomas and Troy DeCoteau. Scriptural Readers were Neysa Gladue and Jolene House. Brian Gladue and Cimmeron Gladue were altar servers.

Visitation began on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 6 p.m. with recitation of the rosary at 8 p.m. led by Tommy and Paula Belgarde.

Casket bearers were uncles, Terry Poitra, Wayne Poitra, Christopher Poitra and Brent Vivier. Honorary bearers were all of her uncles, aunties, cousins and special friend, Lucas Gladue.

Jolinda was a joy to everyone who was blessed to be with her, for such a tiny baby she brought out the absolute best in everyone. She could smile and light up the whole roon, when she'd cry it was so tiny and heartfelt. Our little princess is with Grandma Linda and papa John, Jesus and everyone. She will be missed always and forever.

She passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2011 in a Belcourt Hospital, Belcourt, North Dakota.

Jolinda is survived by her parents, John Jr. and Tobbie; sister, Jerika Vivier; brothers, Jake Vivier, Dylan Vivier, Kalen Charlette and Robert Lilley; grandparents, Cora Vivier and Don Bjugstad; great-grandmother, Betty Peltier; paternal aunts, Maxine Vivier (Rodney Thomas), Betty Vivier (Kevin Martin), Melissa (Gary) Laducer, uncle, Brent Vivier; maternal uncles and aunts, Wayne (Sherry) Poitra, Terry (Audra) Poitra, Christopher (Arlene) Poitra, Valerie Gunville, Dawn Gunville and William Gunville.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Linda Bjugstad; grandfather John Vivier; great-grandparents; and maternal grandfather, Timothy Gunville.
