Della Richard Sugg, 76, of Paris, passed away Thursday, Jan. 5, 2012, at Dubuis Hospital.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Richard and Rev. Jerry McDowell officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Della, the daughter of Troy & Della Jones Richard, was born October 4, 1935, in Belton, TX. She was a nurse aide at St. Joseph's Hospital for many years and upon retirement worked for various home health agencies until her health failed. She married Venuard Sugg on May 27, 1960, in Paris. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Jan. 21, 1992, her parents, two brothers, Floyd & Cecil Richard, and other brothers and sisters-in-law.
Survivors include two sons, Calvin Sugg, who was truly her angel while here on earth, and Marshall Sugg both of Sumner, a grandson, Austin Sugg, a granddaughter, Callie Sugg, two brothers, Lloyd Richard and wife Bonnie of Waxahachie, and J.L. Richard of Grand Prairie along with numerous nieces & nephews.
Casket bearers will be: Jimbo Chadwick, Bob Holman, Butch Peel, Gary Preston, Bob Rast and Allen Williams.
