Mrs. Oda Kean, about 50 years of age, wife of Green Kean, died at the family home in the Moores Schoolhouse community Sunday, August 10th, following a lingering illness of a complication of diseases.
Mrs. Kean was a splendid Christian lady, and was held in high esteem by all who knew her.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three children, two sons, Paul and Orvis Kean, and one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Thomas.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon with burial in the Lawless graveyard near her home.
The bereaved family has the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.
